A 1K run

Serena brought a paper home from school a couple of weeks ago about the High School Cross Country team having a 1K run for the younger kids.  Serena really wanted to do it, so I said she could, but that Nic has to do it, too.  They had a blast and now Serena wants to join the running club.

Serena got 24th place out of 80!  I was pretty proud of her considering she's never ran anything like this before.

And Nic got 4th out of 10:
