The Buddy Walk

On Saturday, October 23rd, we participated in Down Syndrome Indiana's Buddy Walk.  It was a beautiful day and we had a blast.  Our team was small this year, only the 6 of us, my mom (love you mom!) and Brianna's friend, Liz, but we made the most of it.  Sweet little Mia walked the whole way!  She loved it.  Someday we will have a huge team like we did the first year we walked.

Mia's 5th Birthday

So, my  baby turned 5 today.  I don't know how that's possible, but she is.  All my babies are growing up.  Mia is big into Toy Story right now and plays with Nic's old Buzz and Woody toys.  And finally, finally, I got the chance to get a Jessie (the cowgirl from the movies).  We took the whole family to see Toy Story 3 at the dollar theater.  (Excellent movie, by the way!  Mia watched the whole thing).   Then came home for cake, presents and homemade pizza.  It was a wonderful day.

So,  my girls like being drama queens and making faces, doing poses, etc.  Lately, they've been in a posing frenzy (especially Mia) so I thought I'd share some pics.

Nic's 11th Birthday

On September 27, Nicholas turned 11!  I can't believe how fast time has flown and how much he has grown.  He is not my little man anymore.  All he wanted for his birthday was the new HALO Reach video game.  We got him that plus a years Xbox Live membership and a HALO tshirt.  He was in heaven even though Mia insisted on helping him blow out his candles and open his presents.
