Mia and the Special Olympics Young Athletes Program

Today Mia got the chance to once again participate in the Special Olympics Young Athletes Program.  She loves doing this.  She got to do an obstacle course, walk a small balance beam, kick a ball, toss bean bags and hit a ball.  And she got to RUN.  Mia loves to run.  Here are a ton of pictures from today:

HAPPY EASTER!!!

I was a good mommy this year and actually boiled eggs and bought an egg coloring kit so my kids could color eggs this year.  They had fun, but Mia didn't like getting her hands wet or dirty.  Here are some pics of the egg coloring:

It's a tradition in our family that, instead of getting Easter baskets that just get trashed and in the way every year, the "Easter Bunny" brings our kids shoes and some candy.  The loot this year:

 After church on Easter Sunday we all went up to Lafayette to see the Asay family and the kids had a blast with their aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.  We missed all of the Accinelli family so much!
